This is why I don’t like TV, life is much more interesting and they almost never show life on TV.

You are in San Francisco, what do you expect? If it was normal it would have left the city long ago. That is the beauty of “The City”, it is like a stage of circus freaks that all need to polish their acts. Speaking of Circus Freaks your Dad’s Band, aka Road Soda, will be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe in Newport June 17th. A shameless plug, hardly as entertaining as SF but perhaps just as weird.

i agree with the mustache comment. i haven’t had things happen to me in awhile. all during my 20’s and courting my wife, wherever we went, i was always approached to buy drugs- and i was the cleanest 20 something you could know (that’s changed in my 30’s.) it was crazy - they would pick me out on the street and approach with thier catch phrases - green bud green bud? 420? ice? since i didn’t know the lingo, i would put on the puzzled face and go huh? and then it was thier choice to either explain or walk away. sometimes they would explain - “dude, i meant do you want to buy some pot?”

LOL! I spent a lot (A LOT) of time in SF in the late sixties, and LOVED it because there was always something! If it wasn’t the tear gas, it was Allen Ginsberg, naked, just enjoying a concert in the park. (Pickle is a tad puzzling, though.) (Let’s all be at the Hard Rock on June 17th, could we?)

I gotta move to SF. I think that kind of weirdeness would add the flavor to my life that I’m currently missing. Surreal!
